Since you're using newer videocards you're probably not gonna need to try running the game to DirectX 9 support. Here's my list of suggestions for fixing startup/crashing issues with Tomb Raider. (I use Iobit's Driver Booster 2 to update drivers, along with CCleaner which has a pretty safe registry cleaner) If I can play without the problems you're getting on my set up, it would seem logical that you have something installed that I don't.
